Sacramento, CA traveling to Oakland, CA

What a beautiful drive it was from Sacramento through the valleys to the outside of Oakland in the mountain hills.  Not knowing where you are headed leads you to where you are supposed to be.

Driving through the hills to our cottage, I was so excited to see what was inside this cozy cottage.

This was one of those experiences where I wish the AirBnB had a couple days extra for us to stay.  What a cozy, european style cottage to call home for a night.

Even had some turkeys in the neighborhood to feel like home.
