Oldest Bar in the City.
————————————> DENVER, CO
Feeling like I am at home in Minneapolis, Denver actually is pretty comfortable the first night. We unpacked the Jeep Wrangler, took the dogs on a walk, chilled out a bit and headed downtown Denver, CO.
Where do we go? Who knows, let’s get an UBER and let them decide where to take us!
We hop into the UBER, chat with our driver and he takes us to this little hometown bar – My Brother’s Bar. Which happens to be the oldest bar in the city of Denver, CO.
Oldest bar in the city! #Cheers #Denver
— with Dennis Patrick Brannon at My Brother’s Bar.
As we walk in the bar, you can just feel the history and personality behind the bar. We stopped in after dinner time, not really looking for food and ready to drink.
Little did we know, we ended up having one of the best nights of the road trip to elsewhere that first night in downtown Denver, CO.
We sat down at the bar, ordered some whisky and soaked in the history of the bar and craftsmanship that is recognized everywhere. The cash register was authentic, the bar was original and the personality has not changed either behind the bar.
After hearing about the Jalapeno cream cheese that they put on their burgers, we had to order some food. It was unbelievable. It changed my life.
All of a sudden, we are bullshitting with some locals. Telling stories. Drinking whisky. Feeling good.
