Denver, CO traveling to Ouray, CO

When arriving in Denver, Colorado for my first time, I noticed the mountains.  I have never seen the mountains this close before and I didn’t think much of it at first, until… we headed out to the mountains and I could feel them.

When driving in the direction of the mountains, the view gets better and better each minute.  First we can see the sky view of the mountains surrounded by evergreens.  What a sight to see in my deep blue dreams.  I felt like I was underwater but I was headed up much farther.

As we get deeper into the woods, we are not starting to elevate up and down.  Having your ears pop and ring, questioning what lies ahead. Curving to the left and over to the right.  Up, down and around the mountains we go.
